By now you’ve all probably heard and enjoyed the famous chocolate avocado mousse – now it’s time to try the drink version based on the same idea.
1 ripe avocado
300-400ml of coconut milk or any other plant based milk
3tbsp of unsweetened cacao powder
2tbsp of Stevia Erylite alternatively 3-4 dates or some honey
1 Dr.Coy’s Coconut Nutritional Chocolate Bar melted
1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
To top: whipped coconut cream and cocoa nibs
Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop the flesh out of the skin into a high speed blender adding all other ingredients except the ice and the toppings. Blend until perfectly smooth adding more coconut milk if needed. Then add the crushed ice and blend a bit more until thick. Enjoy topped with some whipped coconut cream and cacao nibs.
