With the help of Supervalu Food Academy, a passion for positive eating and a love for chocolate, Dr.Coys launched into retailers across Ireland 5 years ago! SuperValu are the biggest supporters of local producers in Ireland, together with Bord Bia and the Local Enterprise Office Network, the Food Academy Programme was created. The Supervalu Food Academy works with and nurtures small businesses through their journey from start up to getting their products on the shelves. There are currently over 300 Food Academy small producers in SuperValu stores.
Since participating in the Food Academy training program in 2014 which gave us the platform to launch through SuperValu in March 2015, we are now proudly available in SuperValu and Centra stores nationwide. There is great feedback, increased sales and brand awareness from our relationship with SuperValu and Centra.
We have since developed our healthy eating range and have been helping our customers transform their favourite meals and treats into delicious nutritional goodness without the sugar spikes. Dr. Coy’s now offer a full range of Nutritional Chocolate, Stevia Erylite, Organic Coconut Oil, Coconut Flour and Vegetable Bouillon in a number of retail outlets across Ireland and the UK.
