Ribose is a food supplement useful for everybody but particularly before, during and after exercise. It occurs naturally in the body and is one of the building blocks of DNA and RNA. It also kickstarts the body’s production of ATP, the body’s main cellular energy source.
Ribose is a natural source of energy and does not affect blood sugar levels.
It is used by athletes, amongst others, as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Recommended intake
Between 0.5 to 1 teaspoon (2 to 5 g) daily, stirred in water (or any sugar-free drink) and taken with meals. If engaging in exercise or sports, ideally take 15 minutes before and after training.
Important:
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Nutritional supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Store out of reach of children.
